At the last Sibaya, KZN Yearling Sales, we managed to secure a filly by Dynasty.

Consigned by the Cheveley Stud, this unnamed daughter of the Irish mare Exzieting, was a bargain buy.

Dynasty, a 16 hand horse was the 2003 Horse of the year, after conquering a July field from the widest draw of 20.

From his 12 career starts, he won 9 races including four Grade 1’s and was placed a further 3 times for earnings of over R2 million.

His 1st crop are racing and not surprisingly, given the recent run of home grown success, he features prominently on the National Horseracing Authority’s stats for sires of 2 year olds.

Dynasty currently finds himself in 4th place, behind Captain Al, Var and Kahal on the log for stakes earned by their 2 year old progeny.

The Irish mare Exzieting notched up two wins from only 8 career starts and although the 2nd dam was unraced, don’t overlook the fact that she was a half sister to the Group winning SARANIA (GB).
